For Sunday January 18th, 2026
It's a common theme throughout human history.
So tonight, with kindness and fervency, may we petition God's Light to come down and God's will be done.
With loving blessings for us all,
Richard

It's not always easy to do.
Let's try again. May we take another attempt at going beyond our psychological limitations. May we settle in, put the world aside for a bit, and see where we go.
With love for all,
Richard

In such a case, our job would be to enhance and/or cushion those effects.
Right now, as political leaders grasp ever more tightly to the external power of finances, military force, and political leverage, our job remains the same. It is not for us to get caught up in anguish and fears. We are to be guides toward a heart-felt awakening, in whatever manner falls to us.
May we sit this Sunday with the understanding that we may be called upon to do difficult things, and do them with grace. Whatever happens has its importance. But how we handle what happens is where we'll show our spiritual growth.
With reverence for all and for the entire process,
Richard

A gracious, "Hello!" to all. We are strongly attached to the physical in this life. Rudolf Steiner says we need to get outside of our body to fully recognize higher spiritual truths. How many of us have accomplished this by conscious effort? Not me, certainly.
But, it is a righteous goal.
May we sit this evening again, to release the physical in favor of the mystery. We know not what waits, perhaps that brings concerns. But we have it on excellent authority that it is beauty itself welcoming us forward. Let us reach.
With blessings for all,
Richard

Hello, light filled souls. We cannot see from the perspective of God, of what needs to occur for the spiritual growth of humanity at large. As there is a time for every season, often beyond our sight, all things will come to pass.
Faith can be tested by what we have to endure. Faith can be enhanced by the process of endurance.
In these tumultuous times may we sit for our political leaders of all stripes. May we petition God to shine its Light down upon all involved in momentous decisions, and in minutiae as well.
With love and reverence,
Richard

Hello, beautiful people. The traditional motto of the USA is E Pluribus Unum, "Out of many – one". The spiritual significance of this ought not be lost on us as it applies to any collection of people, and collectively to all.
May we sit Sunday evening pondering upon this, as fervently as we can.
Short and reverently to the point,
Richard

Hello to all who wish the world well. In keeping with the history of this date let us sit in reverence for our Mother Earth, and all whose lives depend upon her.
As those who see selfish extraction and personal accumulation become balanced by those who trust the intelligence of the heart, let us add our spiritual weight to the loving side of the scale.
May we sit this Sunday tilting toward truth, beauty, and Divine will for the whole world.
Bless you all,
Richard

Also, we can see our current Earthly situation is at a tipping point. Earthquakes, volcanoes, storms, drought, and magnetic anomalies all indicate a time of change. Politics, wars, and famine are hopefully balanced somewhat by massive humanitarian efforts as we shift from reliance upon external power to the authentic power of the human heart.
I'll ask this: along with our giving of thanks we include an outpouring of love for ourselves, the Earth, and all of humanity. I'm thinking it would be especially helpful at this time. Our little list may not be much, but when things are at a tipping point a little push can make a lot of difference.
Thank you all for all you do,
Richard

Our destiny lies in the choices we make day by day.
May we sit this evening for the sensitivity to 'hear' the quiet voice, to see our choices clearly, and choose well.
Blessings upon all,
Richard

When gently woken and spoken to, she answers with 2-3 words at best. But that spark, which I have loved for over half a century, is still there. Her brain doesn't work well, but the spark comes through in her inflections. It's pure beauty to behold.
A common comment of hers was, "If I ever get put into a nursing home, I'm just going to love everyone!" I believe she is, as she is beloved by all there.
May we sit tomorrow evening in gratitude for that Divine spark, always with us, always shining through in some way.
Thank you all,
Richard

May we sit this evening in awareness of the beauty, and the difficulty, of change. May we be gentle with ourselves as we search forward. May we hear the call of Divine will.
Bless you all,
Richard

We face similar attitudes today. No matter how nice it sounds to say all people should be treated fairly, the application of it irritates those who conjure up racial, financial, and legal justifications for not doing so.
Our job, those of us who look toward a more loving future, is to grasp how hard it is for those who are stuck in old paradigms to see the world anew. For them to change their attitudes is a very long journey.
Tonight may we sit being aware of what we face. May we see the recalcitrant ones lovingly, as children do who help other children to complete a task. We're all in this together, and we all need to help one another through it.
Blessings on us all,
Richard
